Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of pooled labor markets in the maquiladora industry. It studies the regional factors affecting the assymetric distribution of maquiladoras in the Mexican economy. It also estimates the impact of concentration and agglommeration on the employment growth of the maquiladora industry.
