Abstract

The Italian economy is certainly one of the industrial countries and major economies in the world, but has always been an economy with some special features. The country has known more than thirty years ago the years of the "economic miracle". The Italian economy today is far from the growth rates of that period, but also by that development model. The reading of a recent book by Augusto Graziani titled "The development of the Italian economy. From reconstruction to the European currency "can help us better understand the trajectory of the Italian economy since World War II and to identify the main problems which characterizes it.
