emissions for a collection of developed and developing countries
using data spanning the period 1870 to 2002. For this purpose, three
recently developed panel unit root tests that permit for dependence
among the individual countries are employed. The results lend strong
support in favor of convergence for the panel as a whole. Estimates
of the speed of this convergence is also provided.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">C32 - Time-Series Models ; Dynamic Quantile Regressions ; Dynamic Treatment Effect Models ; Diffusion Processes ; State Space Models</mods:classification><mods:classification authority="lcc">C33 - Panel Data Models ; Spatio-temporal Models</mods:classification><mods:classification authority="lcc">Q54 - Climate ; Natural Disasters and Their Management ; Global Warming</mods:classification><mods:classification authority="lcc">Q28 - Government Policy</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2007-05-16</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>MPRA Paper</mods:genre></mods:mods>
