Abstract

This article has set itself the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of the various measures implemented by the Congolese authorities to combat the negative effects of the covid 19 health crisis on the Congolese economy. To do so, the study analyzed the various measures implemented by the authorities and the objectives for which these measures were taken. It has been observed that the authorities have applied monetary and budgetary policies with the aim of stabilizing and reviving the Congolese economy which has fallen under the effects of the covid 19 pandemic. It is found after analysis that the various measures taken by the authorities have been effective because they have succeeded in stabilizing the exchange rate and inflation and in reviving the economy. This recovery was manifested by the increase in economic growth observed in 2021.
