Abstract

Agribusiness is one of the most competitive economic sectors in Macedonia. Hence, the agro-exports is country's main development strategy. With extremely strong competition on international agri-markets, export competitiveness means continuous presence, quality and good image, because the competitiveness is difficult to obtain, but easy to lose. Improving the export competitiveness is also possible with easy access to finance. Without funds even the best idea could fail. Capital inflows in agribusiness could be in form of FDI, loans, subsidies, donations, leasing etc. each of which with strong and weak sides. At the end, the improvement of Macedonian agribusiness lies in clustering i.e. close cooperation between stakeholders, preceded by strong mission and vision, because a vision without action is a dream, but action without vision is a nightmare!
