The behavior of the dynamics of employment in an economy, given that it constitutes a determinant factor of production as is the work. The Petty-Clark law can be defined as the changes that are made in a society in the dedication or employment of its population to a certain primary activity towards a more advanced (secondary-tertiary) in such a way that, the relative importance of the Sectors is gaining momentum over time. A bit of time series econometrics is done to verify compliance with the Law in the Metropolitan Area.
