Abstract

Το άρθρο αυτό συνιστά μια απόπειρα να αποτιμηθούν οι επιδράσεις της χριστιανικής θρησκείας στο συνδικαλιστικό κίνημα. Παραθέτοντάς την ιστορική πλαισίωση του θέματος, μελετάμε αρχικά την καθολική κοινωνική διδασκαλία για την εργασία. Στη συνέχεια προσεγγίζουμε τις εκφάνσεις του χριστιανικού σοσιαλισμού και της χριστιανοδημοκρατίας στα εργατικά συνδικάτα και μελετούμε τις επιρροές που δρομολόγησαν στις εργασιακές σχέσεις των χωρών όπου εφαρμοστήκαν, Τέλος, στα συμπεράσματα της εργασίας επιχειρείται η ανατοποθέτηση των κρίσιμων ερωτημάτων επιβίωσης του χριστιανικού συνδικαλισμού στο σύγχρονο οικονομικό και κοινωνικό περιβάλλον.
