Abstract
This paper works on an adaptation of the standard Pissarides model to incorporate-rate an exponentially distributed match specific�c job destruction rate. We discuss the characterization of equilibrium, equilibrium wage, number of equilibria, stead state unemployment, welfare and comparative statics problems in this adapted model.
