Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the growth of maple syrup production in Maine. First, we analyze the change in the number of taps from 2008 to 2013, and then look at the expected growth in maple taps between 2013 and 2018. Second, we examine the factors that Maine maple syrup producers believe are important to the future viability of maple syrup production in the state.
