Abstract
This paper addresses the issues of economic development and migration of the South Mediterranean countries and the impact that such issues have on European countries, trying to indicate the most appropriate policy. The present work discuss the issues of population and migration that affect the South Mediterranean countries, also in the light of the "Arab Spring" effects. Then the paper analyzes the Mediterranean economy and, above all, the issue of economic development of the southern shore countries, and it itries to identify ways to improve the economic conditions and the use of resources in this region of the Mediterranean.
