Abstract
In this document, the Global Entrepreneur Monitor database is used to carry out a descriptive and comparative analysis of the different determinants of entrepreneurship for the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. To analyze these determinants we will use econometric analysis, trying to find the relationship of the entrepreneurship and a number of variables. The results obtained show that the rate of entrepreneurship in the Basque Country is significantly lower tan the Spanish average, while the differences between men and women do not appear significant. Finally, a set of recommendations will be made with the aim of trying to improve the rate of entrepreneurship and therefore the economic growth of the region.
