Abstract
This study investigates financial corruption in Iran and the corresponding economic reform measures to address it. Financial corruption, defined as the abuse of governmental power for personal or group gain, is strongly linked to economic factors such as monopolies, rent-seeking structures, and poverty, which have made Iran’s economy particularly prone to illicit practices. Key reforms to address these challenges include reducing the government intervention in the economy, eliminating rent-seeking and monopoly practices, and fostering competition. These measures are essential for reducing corruption .
