Abstract
In this paper an attempt is made to estimate poverty line/ratio and inequality consistent with NAS based consumption expenditure (PFCE), from NSSO based consumption expenditure data. It is to be noted that the paper is not going to address the poverty measurement controversy based on two sources of estimations but explores consistent estimation.
