Abstract
Potential source of competitive advantage can be found everywhere. Each company division, subdivision or different company level has its own functional role which has to be defined and understood. Source of the competitive advantage is basically a number of activities during design, production, delivery and support process of the company product.To transform the company know-how and knowledge into financial indicators it is not enough just to hire and expand the number of qualified employees. Know-how in the form of theoretical and practical information’s has to be available in a long term for all of the employees if required to fulfill their work. Some of the current companies do not own any real estates or production lines and the source of the competitive advantage is only the company know-how and knowledge. Therefore it is required especially in case of large companies to track all available information’s and knowledge.
