Abstract
In the extension of the literature about the effects of the agricultural sector in the economic growth process, the interest of this paper is to provide scientific evidence of the key role of this sector in Senegal. Thus, our empirical investigations from a VECM will show that the agriculture sector backwards effects are superior to forwards effects over the period 1960-2011.
