Abstract
An Old and certainly misleading apprehension in economics is that Overvaluation of currency have certainly misleading effects and impact on the economic system especially concerning the orientation in monetary policy. This is the main argument to state about the inability of most African States to have currency a la UK. Therefore there is sign of recognisim on the valuable concept on convergence to seem as channel of explanation of most policy orientation as Regional integration. Therefore in continuity of Kuikeu (2021) who have asserted that is the Exchange Rate who is the issue of African continental competition the present study investigated on the issue of economic convergence. In other words, how the recent re-apprehension of concept under the covid-19 crisis have mitigated on the explanation of this Old concept? This is the main question of the present Study. Globally Speaking, considering the Results the contemporaneous crisis place at the heart the re-apprehension of the concept of Region as the main think to investigate on this Old concept. With the supplementary argument that the basis of an issue as economic convergence to the opposite of those that lied on Currency as the EMU project is certainly the Region.
