Abstract
The corporate finance is a major constraint to the business environment in Mauritania. In fact, enterprises in Mauritania have limited access to financial services. This study aims to identify the determinants of enterprises’ access to financial services. From enterprises to surveys data from the World Bank for Mauritania, this paper develops four separate probit econometric models for its test. The findings of the test reveal that demand factors (enterprises’ characteristics) and supply (costs and banking conditions) are major factors explaining the access to financial services.
