Abstract
The COVID-19 Pass-through on the financial system runs at a Super Sonic speed and undermines financial stability with a contraction of claims on the private sector, withdrawal of deposits and tightening of financial conditions. To control this arithmetic, macroeconomic and financial regulators should run at a pace similar to that of the Justice Flash, by boosting liquidity. At the same time, the financial system landscape would be ultra-digital after the great lockdown, with the expansion of Fintechs on the one hand, and the expansion of Cyberattacks on the other. In order to make the most of the digitalization of the financial system and enhance the effectiveness of Cybersecurity, Financial Institutions should implement smart policies and invest in research.
