Abstract
The world economic situation entails a review of the economic integration processes and, subsequently, a return to national economies that were based on a rebound in domestic demand (that is, very supportive of orthodox Keynesianism), inspired by the commitment to income redistribution policies, the reduction of social inequalities and the extension of the principles of subsidiarity and aid to social welfare policies. The aim of this text is to present a descriptive analysis of the main implications of the recent changes in the world economy on the economy of Galicia, with special attention to what happened in the year 2021.
