Abstract
In the post-industrial era of business a growing emphasis on services is paid. Other sectors are loosing their share on creation of the gross domestic product. One of the most interesting services is a film screening, which has more than a century of tradition through tremendous growth, particularly in the U.S., and it has become a cheap and regular entertainment for all sections of the population. During its development film screenings has undergone several stages, which culminated in the creation of the business model multiplex. With small changes it works still great today, and thanks to foreign investors it found its way to Slovakia. The aim of this paper is through description of the usage of the business model multiplex to analyze its application in Slovakia.
