Abstract
The present study is to show the impact of precipitation and temperature on economic growth through agriculture in Tunisia. Agriculture is considered a key sector is of great importance in the Tunisian economy. Furthermore, the presence of climate change in developing countries in the Mediterranean region has been regarded as a place of transition between two major climatic units, becomes a certainty and is an ecological, economic and social threat. This analysis was made on the basis of tests of stationarity and a VAR model. The findings of the study that there is a long-term relationship between temperature and rainfall. In addition, temperature has a direct negative effect on economic growth in Tunisia.
