Abstract

During the last week of April, 2018, a prestigious international 'Local Development Workshop' took place in Bingöl, one of Anatolia's small cities in its Eastern Region. The 'Local Development Workshop' organized in Bingöl and directly sponsored by TÜBİTAK, was meanwhile the largest and most comprehensive program ever organized in the FEAS faculty of the university. Speakers and the scientific committee members involving those from the world's prominent schools and those with extensive international experience in the US, UK and Europe have justified the program’s place as a prestigious international activity in the history of province. The TÜBİTAK supported local development workshop was also the first workshop or conference funded by TÜBİTAK in Bingöl.
