Abstract

In this paper we calculate the Keynesian multipliers of income (value added), employment, imports and net exports for 101 economic activities of the Peruvian economy based on information from the 2007 input-output table. Our analysis considers the distinction between domestic and foreign origin of the goods and services for the intermediate and the final demand. Likewise, this measurement is complemented with the analysis of the productive linkages indicators of the different activities in the economy ("backward" and "forward"). Power and dispersion sensitivity indicators are also constructed, which allow identifying "key" activities based on the magnitude of the links of each activity within the economy. The results obtained are useful to simulate possible differentiated economic effects of different policy interventions that aim for the promotion of productive development implemented by the government.
