Abstract
Against the background of current global issues on climate change and environmental protection, the present paper examines successful models for sustainable corporate governance. It focuses on specific case studies related to companies that apply the principles of sustainable development and governance, following an environmental policy of raw materials, products, processes and commercial practices. Conclusions have been made in order to demonstrate the need, opportunity and prospects for the development of such business approaches in the management of organizations.
