Abstract

Azerbaijan declared its independence in 1991, with the collapse of the USSR. Azerbaijan has entered into the process of economic reconstruction and development after achieving independence. This process is exactly started with the coming to power of Heydar Aliyev. First, political stability which is important for economic decision-making and implementation has been achieved after Heydar Aliyev came to power in Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev has carried out major reforms and has signed important international agreements for the realization of economic reconstruction and development in the country. Important agreements for the production of energy resources, which are the most important factor in the realization of the structural transformation of the country's, especially "contract of the century", were signed during Heydar Aliyev. Azerbaijan is seen as consisting of the most important indicators of economic independence, considering the point reached at the end of the process of change during the period of Heydar Aliyev. Azerbaijan has their own preference transition to a free market economy and integration into the world economy. On the other hand, first observed that the stability of the country's economy and then the economic recovery during the period of Heydar Aliyev's power, given the macroeconomic indicators.
